Makes 1 cup
2 large avocados
¼ cup sweet onion, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
2 whole limes, juiced
Bottled hot sauce (Louisiana Habañero)
Peel and seed the avocados into a bowl and mash them coarsely with a fork.
Add the onions, cilantro and lime juice and mix with a spatula until well blended. Add the salt and hot sauce to taste.
Serve with a basket of tortilla chips on aside.
Note: Depending on the size and juiciness of the limes you might need more or less juice. The same goes with hot sauce as you might want adjust for spiciness.
